In the dreadful lockdown situation, Team AEO Pakistan made the best use of technology to quickly adapt to the new normal, while strictly observing Covid-19 SOPs and continuously providing online consultancy services to students across Pakistan.
AEO Offices in Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, and Karachi initiated online IELTS preparatory classes to help students in utilising their precious time. To further enable students to easily get connected with AEO Pakistan, AEO Connect android app was also launched during this period. AEO Connect app provides an instant platform for users to book an appointment to study abroad or register for an IELTS or an OET test through AEO Pakistan. Similarly, users can also raise IELTS preparatory Classes enquiries via this efficient android app and rate the customer service by giving their valuable feedback. Apart from this, AEO Pakistan organised two thriving Hybrid Education Expos that were held across the four metro cities of Pakistan (Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Multan) in August & September 2020. Alongside the physical expo, virtual expos (using Zoom platform) comprising exclusive sessions of participating universities were simultaneously organised and live streamed on AEO Pakistan’s official Facebook page. Keeping up with the social distancing norms and adhering to Covid-19 SOPs to avoid large gatherings, the live sessions were proficiently planned to reach the maximum participants as possible.
Despite the pandemic and the overall recession in the market, both AEO Hybrid Education Expos received great response from a number of candidates. The participants appreciated AEO’s effort in the provision of a perfect platform that offered free counselling sessions with official representatives of 18-20 international institutions to explore the options of enrolling for a degree of their choice.
As the government lifted the restrictions, AEO Pakistan offices became fully operational by strictly adhering to all precautionary measures to ensure employees and customers’ safety. AEO Pakistan was the first Centre to resume IELTS testing across Pakistan. Furthermore, OET testing has also resumed; providing a huge sigh of relief to hundreds of medical professionals across the country.
It is heartening to share that the response of the Government of Pakistan to corona pandemic has been amazingly effective. Today, Pakistan’s response is being internationally applauded, and being recognised as the best in Asia. Achievements of such nature act as a baeacon of hope amidst these testing times.
